  4. impresario; and Carroll Douglass, former mental patient at Bellevue
  5. Hospital; in New York City. Over Douglass's objections, Justice
  6. Carmen Ciparick invalidated the 2 1/2-year union on the ground that
  7. Bing, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, is "incapable of
  8. understanding the nature and consequences" of his actions.
  9. According to his lawyer, Bing forgets marrying Douglass, and has
  10. not been told of the annulment because it would confuse him.
